Ergo: New Open-Access Journal
By S. Matthew Liao

Ergo is a new general, open access philosophy journal that accepts submissions on all philosophical topics and from all philosophical traditions. This includes, among other things: history of philosophy, work in both the analytic and continental traditions, as well as formal and empirically informed philosophy. Papers are published as they are accepted; there is no regular publication schedule.

Ergo uses a triple-anonymous peer review process. The author submits an anonymized manuscript which is reviewed by a section editor (authors have the option to choose which section their submission is sent to: Ancient Philosophy, Feminist Theory, etc.). The section editor issues a decision, advised by external reviewers when appropriate. The managing editors approve this decision except in extraordinary cases, such as negligence or bias on the part of a section editor or reviewer. Section editors and reviewers do not know authors’ identities, nor are they identified to authors. The managing editors know the identities of all parties.

Ergo is being edited by a number of excellent philosophers (see here). So do submit your papers there!
